It does look pretty cool, now they just need to figure out how to give it a lower profile. That thing sat up pretty high in the chassis, so I wonder how the handling would be?
At an airport in japan they have the real thing powering their shuttle buses. the buses, weighing in at about 24000 pounds, are getting 480 miles to the fill up. Cost? about $4.80 to fill up. Honda has one that uses four brushless motors (one on each wheel). you pull up to parallel park and the wheels will turn 90 degrees to a park mode and pull you in by radar. no noise. emissions? co2 (good for plants) and water vapor (good for everyone). only real requirement is a stainless steel exaust!!!!!!
Hows it work? Catalyst is placed in chamber with hydrogen (normally in the form of natural gas) the reaction is exothermic giving off harnessable electricity as a by product of the reaction. ALAS......how much racing we could do if a full tank was only $5.00. I say DREAM BIG!!!
